The ClassACT HR73 Board and the Benazir Bhutto Leadership Program Steering Committee invite you to join us for an in-person gathering to introduce this year’s Benazir Bhutto Leadership Program Fellow, Tahsina Nasrin of Bangladesh. This event will take place on Thursday, April 9 at 5:30pm ET at the Arlington, MA home of ClassACT HR73 Chair Marion Dry.
The evening will begin with social time, wine, soft drinks and delicious food, followed by a conversation between Tahsina and ClassACT HR73 Board Member Leigh Hafrey. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Tahsina, hear her perspective on Bangladesh, and explore her hopes for the future. Additional information about Tahsina appears below.

Tahsina Nasrin is a Bangladeshi career civil servant and diplomat with over twelve years of experience in governance, public administration and foreign affairs. She began her career as an Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, leading local development initiatives, upholding the rule of law and ensuring equitable service delivery at the community level.
Her diplomatic career includes serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and at Bangladesh diplomatic Missions in New Delhi and Amman. During her diplomatic assignment in Jordan, she strengthened bilateral relations and safeguarded the welfare of Bangladeshi migrant workers, while in India, she served as the focal point for 83 accredited missions in New Delhi, facilitating cooperation and effectively representing Bangladesh’s interests abroad.
Tahsina is currently pursuing Master in Public Administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, as an Edward S. Mason Fellow. Her academic focus includes development policy, leadership and negotiation, global governance, climate policy and the integration of generative AI into public sector innovation.
Committed to advancing sustainable development in Bangladesh, she aspires to apply evidence-based policy approaches that strengthen institutions and foster inclusive technology-driven governance. Her goal is to continue serving the Government of Bangladesh by driving key development objectives and in the future to contribute to global initiatives that promote equity, innovation and shared prosperity.
